What we do

FreeTCF helps TCF Canada candidates practise all four skills in one place. Work through listening and reading by full test or by A1–C2 level, with explanations, transcripts and key vocabulary. Draft writing and speaking answers from the monthly predictions, get an AI level and suggested fixes, then rehearse them with read-along and recall practice.

When you submit a test you see your CLB / NCLC right away, using IRCC's chart. Mistakes go to your mistake book and new words to your word list, reviewed on a spaced-repetition schedule. The same account works on the web, iPhone and Android, with history and cloud drafts in sync.

Where our questions and data come from

  • Listening and reading: the questions are provided by our partner Réussir TCF Canada. The 40 listening and 42 reading tests follow the test format and A1–C2 levels; FreeTCF adds explanations, transcripts with translation and key vocabulary to every question.
  • Writing and speaking predictions: compiled each month from test takers' feedback; the deduplicated bank shows how many times each topic has appeared.
  • CLB / NCLC conversion: based on IRCC's language test equivalency charts.
  • Express Entry draws and CRS: taken from the round data IRCC publishes, refreshed every hour.

FreeTCF is not an official product and is not affiliated with France Éducation International or IRCC. Explanations and predictions are for practice.

Where AI helps

Writing review and speaking feedback follow the TCF criteria (task, coherence, vocabulary, grammar) and give an A1–C2 level, a score out of 20 and the matching CLB. Shadowing uses Azure pronunciation assessment for accuracy, fluency and completeness. AI results help you find problems and track progress; they do not replace an examiner's mark.
